Adornment with Intention

Each piece begins as a feeling - inspired by nature, shaped by hand, and created to bring balance, expression, and meaning into everyday life.

I make jewelry because I’ve always believed that what we choose to wear can be more than decoration. A piece can hold a memory, express something about who we are, or quietly remind us of what matters.

To me, adornment is personal—it is one of the small ways we tell our story without saying a word. This belief is deeply rooted in the Hawaiian way I was raised to see the world—where what we wear, give, and carry can hold connection, memory, and meaning.

Perhaps it’s the Earth sign in me, but I’m naturally drawn to materials that carry the character of the earth: gemstones with their variations in color and pattern, pearls and shells that are beautifully individual, organic shapes, warm metals, leather, and textures that feel honest rather than perfect.

Living in Hawaiʻi continually shapes the way I see and create. I find inspiration in the changing colors of the ocean, volcanic landscapes, tropical foliage, sunlight, weathered stone, and the quiet balance found in nature. Sometimes that influence appears in a color palette or texture; other times, it is simply a feeling of calm, movement, strength, or connection that becomes the starting point for a design.

Symbolism adds another layer. Hawaiian culture has long taught me that meaning can live within the simplest things—a word, a flower, a place, a material, or something passed from one person to another. A gemstone, a meaningful word, a flower, a celestial sign, or a simple shape can become a personal touchstone—its meaning defined as much by the person wearing it as by the story that inspired it.

More than anything, I hope my jewelry feels like you. Something beautiful that you chose for a reason. Something that helps you express who you are, remember what matters, or simply feel a little more connected to yourself and the world around you.
